It was a beautiful morning as Salena walked to her lecture hall, feeling both excited and nervous about the day ahead. She had just completed her second semester at college and was still adjusting to the newfound freedom of living on campus. As she approached the building, she couldn't help but notice the loud buzzing sound coming from within.
Salena felt her stomach rumble, giving her away. She hadn't eaten breakfast yet and was starving. Trying to ignore the hunger pangs, she made her way into the crowded hall. The noise grew louder as she got closer; it seemed like a nasty mix of flatulence and toilet noises.
She took a seat at the back of the room, grateful for the anonymity it provided. However, as class began, the noises only seemed to get louder. It wasn't long before Salena realized that they were coming from the girl sitting next to her.
The girl appeared to be straining quite a bit, grunting with each passing moment. Salena could feel her blush deepen as she struggled to ignore what was happening. She tried not to look over at her classmate but found it increasingly difficult not to.
Finally, the girl let out a loud sigh of relief and turned to face Salena with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm so sorry," she muttered, "I think I might have messed up my pants." Before Salena could respond, the girl stood up and walked quickly towards the front of the room.
Salena watched in horror as her classmate took a seat on the toilet, pulled up her skirt, and began to relieve herself. The splashing sounds were loud enough to disturb the entire class. Mortified, Salena turned away, her cheeks burning bright red.
As the class went on, Salena couldn't help but steal glances at her classmate. She was clearly struggling, and every so often, there would be another loud fart or a gut-churning noise. Salena shifted nervously in her seat, unsure how to deal with the situation.
Eventually, the lecture came to an end. As the other students made their way out of the room, Salena found herself standing beside her classmate. "I'm so sorry about that," she muttered, feeling the heat in her cheeks.
"It's okay," the girl replied, offering her a reassuring smile. She stood up and turned to face Salena, pulling her skirt back down over her messy underwear. "I think I just ate something that didn't agree with me."
They made their way out of the lecture hall, walking towards the dining hall. As they walked, Salena couldn't help but feel drawn to the girl. She seemed so carefree, even after having a public embarrassment like that. They sat down at a table and began talking about their classes and plans for the future.
As they ate, Salena found herself wondering what would happen if she told the girl about her own secret - that she too struggled with farting and pooping in public. But before she could gather the courage to speak up, the girl let out a loud, ripe fart. "Sorry," she said with a laugh, "guess I still haven't digested that burrito properly."
Salena felt a rush of warmth spread through her body. Maybe it was the relief of finally finding someone who understood what she went through or simply the bond they shared over their collective embarrassment. Whatever it was, she knew she wanted to confide in this girl.
Taking a deep breath, Salena looked into her friend's eyes. "I guess I should admit something too," she said quietly. "I'm not always so great at... you know, hold it in." She glanced down at her lap, feeling a sudden surge of shame.
To her surprise, the girl simply nodded. "It's okay," she assured her, reaching across the table to give her hand a gentle squeeze. "We all have our struggles."
They sat in silence for a moment, before both girls couldn't help but let out a loud fart. Laughter bubbled up between them as they realized they could finally be themselves around each other.
As they left the dining hall, arm-in-arm, Salena felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had found a friend who understood her secrets, and that made all the difference.
